General household items, furniture, renovation debris, roofing, deck material, flooring and drywall. Paint, fuel, tires, batteries and freon-containing appliances are prohibited. Yard debris, dirt and concrete go in a dedicated heavy-debris container.

How many days can I hold onto the container?

Every size comes with a standard seven-day window. If you need more time, call or text before your scheduled pickup and we will extend it.

Is a permit required in Birmingham?

Not when the container sits on a private driveway. If it must go on a public street, the city of Birmingham requires a right-of-way permit — we will point you to the right contact.

Where exactly will the dumpster go?
